To ensure a hassle-free experience, we offer a comprehensive warranty on all of our products. Please read the following terms and conditions to understand what is covered under our warranty policy.
1. Warranty Coverage
Our warranty policy covers any manufacturing defects in the materials or craftsmanship of our frames, lenses, and other optical products. This includes:
Frame breakage due to material flaws or improper assembly.
Defects in lens coating, such as anti-reflective or blue light filter coatings.
Hinges or screws that fail due to poor workmanship.
Additionally, the warranty covers:
40% removal of plating on the frames. However, it does not cover plating removal from the inner side of the frames.
The warranty does not cover breakage at moving joints (such as hinges) due to wear and tear or improper handling.
Warranty claims for plating removal or other defects are limited to one-time only.
This warranty is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
2. What is Not Covered
While we strive to ensure the highest quality, our warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence (e.g., dropping, crushing, stepping on the frames).
Normal wear and tear, including scratches on the lenses or frames, stretching of the arms, or loosening of screws due to regular use.
Damage resulting from exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, or water.
Lost or stolen eyewear.
Unauthorized repairs or modifications made to the product.
Plating removal from the inner side of the frames.
Breakage from moving joints, including hinges, unless due to a manufacturing defect.
Any alterations to the original product will void the warranty.
3. Claiming the Warranty
To file a warranty claim, please follow the steps below:
Proof of Purchase: Retain your original receipt or order confirmation email. This document is required to validate your warranty claim.
Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team via email or phone, providing details of the issue, along with images of the defect.
Assessment: Upon receiving your claim, we will assess the defect. If the issue is covered under our warranty policy, we will offer a replacement or repair free of charge.
Replacement or Repair: Based on availability, we will either repair the defective product or replace it with the same model. In cases where the same model is no longer available, we may offer a similar product of equal value.
4. Processing Time
Once your claim has been approved, please allow 7-10 business days for the replacement or repair process. We aim to resolve all warranty claims efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to your eyewear experience.
5. Shipping and Handling
For claims made within the first 30 days of purchase, Chashmaplus will cover all shipping costs related to the warranty process. After the 30-day period, the customer may be responsible for any shipping fees associated with returning the product to our store for assessment or repair.
6. Non-Warranty Repairs
For any issues not covered under warranty, we offer repair services at a reasonable cost. Please contact us for a quote on repair fees. Our team will provide a detailed breakdown of any charges before proceeding with the repair.
7. Limitations and Exclusions
The warranty applies only to products purchased from Chashmaplus or our authorized retailers.
It is non-transferable and only valid for the original purchaser.
Products purchased from third-party or unauthorized sellers are not eligible for warranty claims.
